Here´s another D-beat Crust Attack coming from INDONESIA!! A fucking great band with some releases spreading their ideas to the world!! and keeping the fucking Crust scene alive!!!!!!!

VP.First introduce the band...when was formed...band members,etc...
DERY. hello...i'm deryshit who was playing drum and vocal into this band and also that representative of total banxat to answer all of your question..meanwhile ivanoids who was playing guitar.....we starting in 1999 when we still in one high school in the same graduate and then we decided to make this band...we're three in the begining that formation: deryshit (drum + voc), ivanoids (bass) and teten bardos (guitar) but this formation is not survive and we're dead just because activity each other (working) as long as more less 3 year and in 2003, deryshit trying to continue of total banxat from the death and ivanoids is agree about it but teten bardos is still busy with his activity (working) and the formation is changing: deryshit (drum + voc) and ivanoids (guitar), we're 2 only without additional player until now and it's so nice when an equality should we embrace together to stand in the breach for our existence.

VP.why the name "total banxat"??? what it´s mean??
D. TOTAL BANXAT is taken from BETAWI language that real pronounce is "BANGSAT" then we changing to be "BANXAT" and we adding "TOTAL" word in front of "BANXAT" word.... BANGSAT is a word to expression of disappointed or anger feeling of unlucky condition, it mean when you've got a pressure from the crowd just because you're different from them then you'll throwing the word from your mouth as disappointed or anger.it mean "BASTARDS" in english language.
**BETAWI is one of original inhabitant in JAKARTA (indonesian capital) that almost gone cause to many imigrant from the other cities of indonesian that to try oneself luck to associate with them.

VP.how is the crust scene in indonesia??
D. indonesian scene is very big and not different with scene in your country but not nailed down of one thing then created discrimination between one scene to the other scene, we're all help each other and sometime we're visiting their scene or on the other hand to share info, make relationship, discuss, making gigs and also drunk together....hahahahaha...if you coming to the indonesian you'll shock to see everything were into 1 scene have a lots of genre from punks, skinheads, grind, hc, crust and else....that makes we happy to stay here...let's celebrate the different with friendship...so there's no crust scene, grind scene, punk scene or else....because all the scene is same.....!!!

VP.And how about your punk scene history...
D. i dont know much abouth this one but i will telling to you do what i know and it was come from my birth place in jakarta....punk/hc scene enter to the indonesian especially in jakarta in 1990 were a part of youth from indonesian is continue their study to USA, ENGLAND and AUSTRALIA and when their back home...they bring stuff of punk merchandise and a news about punks from there and first punk/hc scene in jakarta was called YOUNG OFFENDER the place in matraman, central jakarta but it's very difficulty to make a gigs at the moment and the bands is very a little of bit too.....a few year later the kids from this scene is changing to be britpop kids and this scene is dead but a part of them is still survive and build up the other scenes in some jakarta area likes SOUTH SEX, SHARP PEJATEN, LOCO'S ENTERPRISE (souht jakarta), SID GANK, SUBNORMAL (east jakarta), MERUYA BARMY ARMY (west jakarta), this condition is sruvive until 1997, but when enter 1998...to many appearing punk scenes in jakarta include in the bands to show off and also there's no difficulty to making gigs in 1998 but in this year too...our country is experiance difficult era from many aspect after fascist regime of SOEHARTO is ruin were poverty and unemployed are everywhere....the condition is not change until now.

VP.there´s many zines in your country?? distros and d.i.y works and stuffs??
D. of course.....to many zines right here with various reports include distro and stuff.....we still used silk screen for D.I.Y works to produce t-shirt, sticker, patches and backpatches, but sometime we do workshops in a gigs for them that want to printed our t-shirt, let 'em know how the process to make it and learn each other and also to make easy for them that doesn't have much money to buying our -tshirt or else.

VP.What releases do you have available??? and how about your cd at speedstate records from japan?? how do you make the contacts with them to do this ,etc...
D. to many releases that we made ever likes EP, SPLIT, COMPILATION and FULL LENGTH ALBUM....i'm lookin' for a label in the begining that interested in want to release of total banxat and i spread the releases propose to few lable by email and i didn't intentionla find SPEED STATE RECORDS and then shoko's reply my propose that i send it with variuos question as long as more less 2 month in 2006 and she's infomr me by phone if she's interested in want to releasing of total banxat and it was our first gate to recognized in some place and country cause distributed line of SPEED STATE RECORDS is very good and shoko's a nice person for me and i'm not forget her goodness and i would like to said: 'THANX FOR EVERYTHING" by this interview for shoko and yoshi (endless couple), i hope they're reading this article......hahahahahaha......

VP.i saw that you are looking for a label to cooperates with new release...i´m right? can you tell us more about this???
D. exactly.....i made a small label in this year was called NGEHE TUNES SYNDICATE REKOTZ were the concept that i run is D.I.Y with inviting a few lable from around the globe to participated into our project that work and distributed together include enlarge communication network by this project and total banxat is our first releases from NGEHE TUNES SYNDICATE REKOTZ.....!!!

VP.Your favorite bands and influences too,etc...
D. all of the band in this world is very good basically and there's no bad...just back to the what's vision and mission from the band itself and it makes me confused what should i choose as my favorite but one most important....my favorite band is consistence band on the line not the band who always following trend and wtach the market as target to selling the merchandise and just thinking profit that function....meanwhile our influence by musically is DISFEAR, MOB 47, VICTIMS, TOTALITAR, RAJOITUS and KUOLEMA.

VP.are you a crust band??? did you consider...and what you think about some fucking peoples that keeping to say lots of shits about dis-dbeat-crust....???
D. we called RAW AS FUKK ASSAULT......but if any people called us as crut band...it's up to them...maybe they called us as crust band or else.....coz there are consideration from music sounds that we play.

D. total banxat logo is handmade by my friend was named jimmy and he has good talent into drawning and i believe in him for the first when we ask him to make logo for total banxat and the proceeds likes you watch now....total banxat artwork cover design is made by my another friend was named dokie...he has brilliant idea to make artwork cover design, i just give him theme and i let his imagination to expression, so that i'm so surprise and i said: "IT'S GREAT ARTWORK AND IT'S COOL" but i made itself for layout sleeve.

VP.What do you try to show in your lyrics??
D. many our lyrics tell about war crime, injustice system and social problem who was happen in our country or even in the whole world....where the law doesnt pro for poor people meanwhile rich poeple is authorized for everything and so much arrogant.....FUKK THAT.....!!!

DISGRACE INTERVIEW-2008

DISGRACE is a really nice band coming from MALAYSIA into total D-beat Crust Roots!!! This interview was done with just one member :Iron Steel and show us a little of your visions and thoughts about the work with DISGRACE...

VP=TELL US A SHORT HISTORY OF DISGRACE...BEGUIN...LINE UP...
IRON STEEL=Started the band around end of 1999 with original line up by Uncle (vocal), Jedi (guitar),
Jack (bass) and Ayen (drum). On 2000, we agree to name the band as DiSGRACE. Line up
only change on vocal part replace by Kerry from ARKHAYTULMAYT (metal band from ours hometown).
after two years struggling, Jedi decide to out from the band.just left three of us
and Kerry took guitar part with vocals.

VP=WHY "DISGRACE"??
IS=nothing special bout the name. just wanna be part of Dis legacy and continues what our
brothers before us done...

but we had 6 way split with NEUROSE URBANA long time ago under Tolerante records. how are they

IS=erm, yes there are. make sure they not stare and started a fight with us. cause we will fights back.
but,some of them just bunch of youngster that try to look cools by wearing swatika on their jacket when
they first seeing sid vicious wear a tshirt with swastika. untill they practically do racism. they
don't knows what nazis really are.

VP=THE SCENES PUNK/METAL/STARIGHT EDGE,ETC...ARE UNITED THERE??? THERE´S DIVISION BETWEEN

IS=scene at my hometown are united. punks befriended with metalheads. punks go to metal gigs, metalheads go
to punks gigs. we booze togethers. sit at same table, chit-chat and discussing a topics around
political issue or musics.

AGATHOCLES INTERVIEW-2002

This i made with Jan=Bass and voices from this Belgium legends=AGATHOCLES!!! They have played since 1985!!! with a giant discography...and of course don´t need introductions...This interview was published in VERMYNOZE PUTRIDA ZINE Number 28 in December 2002...

VP=Tell us the history of AGATHOCLES...when it was formed...etc...
JAN=The whole history? that would take so much time,so i will try to keep it short! The roots of AG can be found in 1985.when some young people all coming from a city namedMOI.Started making some extreme music together .During the years we did many recordings,gigs,tours...and we also had a lot of line up changes.But since July 1998 the AG line up is JAN=Throat and bass/BURT =drums and drinks/DIRK=voices and guitar.BURT joined the band in 1990 and DIRK joined in 1998.

VP=From beguin from band till today the sonority is getting more CRUST style,what you can tell about this?
JAN=We have done some "crust" recordings,althought i don´t like the word "crust".i would prefer the name D-beat punk.We are NO crusties.We did some recordings with only d-beat songs like the AG "no use...(hatred)"7´ep(1993),the AG "to serve...to protect" cd(1999)and some more.We like this kind of style it is pleasant to play and it feels good.In future we will still be playing this kind of style,but not always,just listen to all new album "Superiority Overdose" wich is raging fast mince-core.this ione has just been released.

VP=What make do you keep in the scene for all this time and keep AGATHOCLES alive without stop in this years?
JAN=Like being busy with the band ,with the scene,with DIY ethics...getting mail from all over the world,getting to hear bands from all over the world,that´s just fantastic and fascinating.The DIY-thing is everywhere and i just love it to be part of this movement.Writing letters,recording tapes,doing a distro,playingin a band,meeting new people...all these things are really a big motivation to keep being active.

VP=What is your favorite bands...and what is your principal influences?
JAN=All bands that i listen to have an influence on me,some musically and some lyrically,and there are so many bands that i really like,Well,i guess, i will tell you a few of them:CONFUSE,REPULSION,HELLHAMMER,OLD PAGAN,GAI,SWANKYS,TERVEET KADET,UBR,NEOS,UNHOLY GRAVE,MALIGNANT TUMOUR,AXED UP CONFORMIST,MITTEN SPIDER,NIET,SLOD,OHLO SECO,ROT,STOMACHAL CORROSION,NIHILISTICS,THE BASTARDS,LAMA,KAAOS,DNA,HUDVUDTVATT,GI AND THE IDIOTS,old DISCHARGE,MOTORHEAD,CRASS,TOZIBABE,SIEKIERA,BLASPHEMY,GISM,THE SUM,HAMMER,CIRITH UNGOL,MG 15,SNIESTRO TOTAL...and tons of old Czech,Slovak,Polish punk bands.

VP=Why "AGATHOCLES"??
JAN=AG is the name of an ancient Greek tyrant.Back in the 80´s i have studied ancient Greek language,And in a book, I found this name AGATHOCLES,Iliked the sound of it and the whole history about this person was very interesting.So i sugested this name to the rest of the band at that time,and they all liked it.I also think that it´s an original name.

VP=Tell us about the lyrics of AGATHOCLES...
JAN=Our lyrics deal with usual punk-items,i think.On the new album 'Superiority Overdose",we have songs about politics of course,especially the political situation in Belgium,the death penalty,violence at gigs,the pressure from society and majority-groups to be someone else that you don´t wanna be,a song about being proud to play mince core...hm m,no love songs on this record,ha ha ha.

VP=What is the importance to play coversongs? and what is actual coversongs played by AGATHOCLES today in gigs....and in old times too...
JAN=We don´t play any coversong at gigs anymore.I think the importance of playing coversongs is that when you play coversongs of old bandsforgoten and great bands or unknow bands,peoples get interested in these bands and still looking for the original recordings of these bands.And that´s great! Of course you can play also coversongs of famous bands,but is not the same,i think,in the past we have playd with AG coversongs from RATTUS,(miks haluat tapella),DOOM(relief),LARM(non-conformity),7 MINUTES OF NAUSEA,STARAIGHT AHEAD,SIEGE,GRAUZONE,DISORDER(fuck your nationality),NAPALM DEATH(deciever),MAJESTY,CAPITAL SCUM,THE SCROUNGERS,PANDEMONIUM from Holland,...a few weeks ago,we have recorded a split cd with UNHOLY GRAVE,on this cd AG plays 10 songs from UNHOLY...and UNHOLY plays songs of AG,ha ha,a nice one.this cd will be out in a few of months on the japanese label BLOODBATH RECORDS.

VP=What do you know/like from Brazilian scene??...today and past...
JAN=The scene in Brazil is big,really big,but is also a big country,ha ha ha,i think that i know quite a lot about the old and new scene in Brazil,some killer old bands that i like are:OLHO SECO,FOGO CRUZADO,CÓLERA,INOCENTES,ULSTER,LOBOTOMIA,ATACK EPILÉPTICO,BRIGADA DO ÓDIO,VULCANO,SARCOFAGO,DORSAL ATLANTICA,OVERDOSE,DISCARGA VIOLENTA,ROT,STOMACHAL CORROSION, and so many others bands i know and like from Brazil is your band;BESTHÖVEN,DESECRATION,DIE HUMAN RACE,PLAGUE RAGUES,VOMITO,LYMPHATIC PHLEGM,PARENTAL ADVISORY,DEADMOCRACY,LIXO URBANO,UNDER THREAT,SCUM NOISE,THE ACCIDENT,NECROBUTCHER,SRMO,CORE,CHC,HERESIA...and so many others for the people from europe,Brazilian scene seems to be a killer one.and the brazilian sound is much more raw than European or USA sound,i like that.

VP=Many people today see the "Discore" style like a bad thing,some people only say that dis bands are clones or other shits...many times the people are only to say bad things about it,and many times forget or criticize good guys...i really loved a lot to DIS bands...and you...what do you think about DIS style?
JAN=This D-beat punk is great for me! i like D-beat sound,but i do think that there are MANY very boring D-beat bands.I like D-beat when is simple and effective,raw and straight not with metal guitars and solos like many new D-beat bands have now.D-beat bands that i really love old and new are=DNA,MG 15,DISCLOSE,MASSLAKT,old DISCHARGE,SVART PARAD,SCUM NOISE,old ANTI-CIMEX,SKITSLICKERS,ANTIBOFORS,SOUND OF DISASTER,CRACKED COPSKULLS,SKULLCRUSHER,VALVANTOKOMISIO,TERRIBLE HEADACHE,MOBCHARGE......

VP=You discography?? demos too,etc...
JAN=I think if you will count the vynil and CD releases we have done about 100 releases(ep´s,lp´s,cd´s,double lp´s...)about tapes i don´t know,maybe about 200 full tapes and split tapes,i have not counted them yet,there are still AG tapes i´m looking for,and there are also some AG cdr´s i´m looking for.

This interview i made with dear friend Otto Itkonen the violent drummer of FORÇA MACABRA...And is about some points at their "MISSÃO METÁLICA" BRAZIL TOUR-2005...This interview was published now in portuguese language at MENSALÃO DO CAPETA zine-from my great friend Régis=MURRO NO OLHO...and will be published in english in my own zine=VERMINOZE PUTRIDA new number too!!!
Let´s to to the macabre world of FORÇA MACABRA!!!!!!!

VP=First,how about play in Brazil...How differences between first tour in 2002 and now 2005...special moments...remmembrances...
FM=Well,each time has been great! and a real dream to come true because Brazil has a special meaning for all of us,Both tours had about 15 shows,and we always met wonderfull peoples,played with interesting bands from all kinds of scenes,and got treated well.Possibilly this later tour 2005 was a big "bigger",we maybe had bigger audience sometimes.we also possibilly played with some slightly "bigger" bands the
2nd tour...also it was amazing to go to some cities and meet the same peoples that you had met 2 or 3 years earlier.it´s good to see people don´t change too much and that they keep loyal to the scene.There have been great moments everywhere,so it´s difficulty to say the "favorite city" or "favorite gig".the 2nd time touring biggest disappointment was maybe the weather,it was really so cold and too much rainning almost every day...Yeah,and on the 2nd tour we played six shows with LOBOTOMIA and made good friends with them.It was very nice to get to know them also personally because besides ARMAGEDOM they are some of our most important influences.

VP=Well,see you playing in my city,Gama,always was a dream to me...specially co´z in Gama city,like you can remember,bands and peoples of different cultures like punk,metal,goths,rockers,etc...can be in the same space and play in same gig without fights or stupid radicalism too...what your remmembrances to play here?
FM=Yeah!,it´s just like Finland;all punks,skaters,metalheads,goths,crusties,etc...hang out together at the shows and have the greatest time! So i think the gig in Gama was awesome! ok,it was raining just too much,really shit weather.But the people were really interesting,I have many nice feelings about that night/place.It was also the 1st time i could see BESTHÖVEN live and it was of course really great!

VP=Tell us about the all tour,what was the best gigs,best nights,best cities and favorite bands you played with?
FM=This 2nd tour you mean? Well,like i said it was basically great.OK,i try to remember something...Porto Alegre was really interesting because we played on the rooftop of one large industrial hall,it was maybe 6 stories high,so the scenery over the city and harbour was wild.Also UNIDOS PELO ÓDIO and NO REST played who are both really cool and great!! We stayed up of course all through the night doing blow,drinking and messing around with the locals.
Well,São Paulo is always great fun,so many possibilities,the gig at hangar was massive and CÓLERA were absolutelly brilliant.Of course also ARMAGEDOM and LOBOTOMIA were always excellent! SOCIOFOBIA were also really great,we´d like to make a split 7" ep with them one day!
Belo Horizonte was interesting because we felt the atmosphere at the gig was somewhat different from the other cities.CHAKAL wewre cool bunch of old time thrash metallers.ANTHARES in ABC was also amazing,one of the wildest and best thrash metal shows i have ever seen in my life!!! Our vocalist was doing the vocals for their classic song "fúria" and it really worked out well.I guess we had cool "parties" everywhere,but on the other hand it´s economical to be on tour like that.Oh yeah,and we were served some amazingly tasty caipirinhas by the parents of Eros Romano,ha ha!

VP=I Read in "BORN 20 YEARS TOO LATE" zine from Canada that a crazy drunk banger girl made a striptease during one of your gigs??? HA HA HA...please,can you tell us more about this?? how city happened this?
FM=HA HA!,yeah,it happened in RIO.It was a major event,a big show with many bands.For example UZOMI was really fucking great,one of the best we saw on this 2nd tour! well,both KUOLEMA and FORÇA MACABRA played really late,maybe 4-5 AM so we were quite tired becuse of the crazy heat,drinking,and the late time...and i just remeber really well how in the midlle of the FORÇA live some girl climbs on the high stage,she first dances around but then soon strips her top off and shows off her breasts.ha ha,it was a big surprise really but we just kept playing and maybe in less than a minute she went off the stage.A pretty lady though;-)

VP=Tell us about your last records...
FM=Last records...? well we have been fucking lazy and disorganized i guess...we did record an album "Aqui é o inferno"(here´s the hell)in March of 2006 but it´s not released yet.(NOTE=The lp is out now!!! and available with band members!!).Also ther is a live record on the 1st Brazilian tour and it´s not released yet,but will soon hopefully be out on USINA DE SANGUE records.The live is quite special co´z we have included a few songs that are not available anywhere else,and we have special appearances by some friends...ok,and besides those two albums were have some compilations coming up here and there,think...

FORÇA MACABRA ENTREVISTA -2007(portugues)

Esta entrevista eu fiz com o meu amigo Otto=Baterista da grande FORÇA MACABRA da gélida Finlândia...um tempão depois de sua última tour aqui no Brasil...Esta versão em português será publicada no zine MENSALÃO DO CAPETA de meu amigo Régis=MURRO NO OLHO em breve...a versão em inglês no meu zine VERMYNOZE PUTRIDA...

VP=Primeiro,diga-nos como foi tocar no Brasil?...as diferenças entre a primeira tour em 2002 e a de 2005...momentos especiais...recordações...
FM=Bem,as duas vezes foram ótimas e um verdadeiro sonho que se tornou relidade,porque o Brasil tem um motivo especial para todos nós.Ambas as tours tiveram 15 shows e sempre encontramos pessoas maravilhosas,tocamos com bandas interessantes de todos os tipos de cenas e fomos tratados muito bem.possivelmente esta de 2005 foi bem melhor.tivemos um grande público em alguns dos shows e também tocamos com bandas importantíssimas nessa segunda tour...tamb´rm foi maravilhoso ir para algumas cidades e encontrar as mesmas pessoas que encontramos 2-3 anos atrás,é bom ver que as pessoas não mudaram muito e continuam leais a cena.
Grandes momentos em todos os lugares.muito dificil dizer uma "cidade favorita' ou "gig favorita".
Na segunda tour nosso maior desapontamento foi talvez o clima,estava muito frio e com muita chuva todo dia...sim...e na segunda tour nós tocamos seis vezes com o LOBOTOMIA e nos tornamos muito amigos deles,foi muito bom tê-los conhecido pessoalmente porque além do ARMAGEDOM eles são uma de nossas mais importantes influências.

VP=Bem,ver vocês tocando em minha cidade,o Gama,sempre foi um sinho pra min...especialmente porque aqui como você pode lembrar:bandas e pessoas de diferentes culturas como;punks,bangers,straight edgers,goths,rockers...etc...frequentam o mesmo espaço e tocam juntos também,sem brigas ou radicalismo estúpido...quais suas lembranças de terem tocado aqui?
FM=Sim,é igual a Finlândia;todos os punks,skatistas,metalheads,góticos,crusties,etc...curtem o mesmo show e maravilhosos eventos! então acho que o show no Gama foi maravilhoso! ok,estava chuvendo muito também,merda de clima,mas o povo era muito interessante,eu tenho ótimas recordações daquela noite e daquele lugar,e também foi a primeira vez que eu pude ver a BESTHÖVEN ao vivo e isto foi realmente grande!

VP=Fale mais sobre toda a tour...melhores shows,melhores noites,melhores cidades e bandas favoritas que dividiram o palco com vocês?
FM=Você quer dizer esta segunda tour né? bem como disse foi tudo basicamente grande! ok!...vou tentar lembrar alguma coisa...
Porto Alegre foi realmente interessante,nós tocamos no telhado de um salão industrial enorme,talvez com seis andares de altura,então a visão sobre a cidade e o porto foi féra.Também UNIDOS PELO ÓDIO e NO REST tocaram e são muito boas e grandes realmente!São Paulo sempre é muito divertido,muitas possibilidades,o gig no Hangar foi massivo e CÓLERA é absolutamente brilhante,é claro ARMAGEDOM e LOBOTOMIA são excelentes sempre! SOCIOFOBIA também foram realmente grandes! nós gostariamos de fazer um split com eles algum dia!
Belo Horizonte foi interessante porque nós sentimos na atmosféra do gig algo diferente das outras cidades.CHAKAL são uma galera de bons velhos thrash metals.ANTHARES no ABC também foi maravilhoso,um dos mais ferozes e melhores shows de trash metal que já pude ver em minha vida!!! nosso vocalista fez os vocais para o clássico deles 'Fúria" e isto ficou muito bem trabalhado.pegamos boas festas em todos os lugares mas não tinhamos muito tempo para "férias" ou "descanso" porque os horários estavam muito apertados...mas por outro lado é econômico estar numa tour como esta.oh,sim e nos deram a chance de provar algumas maravilhosas caipirinhas dos pais de eros romano,ha ha !

VP=Eu lí no zine "Born 20 years too late" do Canadá que uma mina banger bêbada e louca fez um strip tease durante um dos shows de vocês??? ha ha ha...porfavor,conte-nos sobre isso...em que city aconteceu?
FM=HA! HA! Sim isso aconteceu no Rio,este foi um evento maior,um grande evento com mitas bandas,por exemplo UZOMI foi fudido e realmente grande,uma das melhores que já vimos dessa vez,bom o FORÇA e a KUOLEMA também tocaram muito tarde,4 ou 5 da manhã então agente tava cansado e bebendo e por causa do horário...
Eu me lembro que no meio do FORÇA uma garota subiu no palco,primeiro ela dançou e logo depois tirou a blusa e mostrou os seios,ha ha,isto foi uma grande surpresa na verdade,mas apenas continuamos tocando e em menos de um minuto ela saiu do palco,uma linda garota.

VP=Fale-nos sobre seus últimos discos...
FM=Últimos discos...? bem,nós estamos fudidamente preguiçosos e desorganizados eu acho...gravamos um album "Aqui é o inferno" em março de 2006 mas não foi lançado ainda.Tamb´rm há um live album gravado na primeira tour e não lançado ainda,mas irá sair logo pela USINA DE SANGUE records.O live é muito especial porque há alguns sons inéditos e tivemos algumas participações especiais de alguns amigos...ok,e além desses dois albums temos algumas comps a sair aqui e alí,acho...
(nota=o "Aqui é o inferno" lp já saiu e está disponivel com a própria banda!)

VP=Novidades e próximos discos agora...e então o tchau...
