This is a song i made for DISCLOSE back some years ago...and it was released in their EP "A MASS OF RAW SOUND ASSAULT" in 2001 by MCR company-Japan....this song was released again in their 12 "YESTERDAY FAIRTALES TOMORROW NIGHTMARE" by G.O.T.A records in USA....

DESAKATO A AUTORIDADE (1988-1994)

+PORTUGÊS= A banda DESAKATO À AUTORIDADE foi formada na cidade de Taguatinga-DF em 1988 e trazia na linha de frente o carismático vocalista TEZEU desde o inicio.Bem...eu não consigo recordar dos nomes do pessoal que compôs a primeira formação da banda,mas lembro que um figura chamado DERBA tocava também na banda=baixo ou guitarra.... Um curto período depois a banda passou por uma reformulação total,restando apenas TEZEU da formação original.Ao passo em que o pessoal mais novo de uma outra banda punk hardcore de Taguá chamada DESTROÇOS acabou e seus membros passaram a tocar na DESAKATO como uma espécie de amálgama entre as duas bandas.... Nessa nova formação a DESAKATO trazia=TEZEU-VOCAL,FRANGO-BAIXO,REPOLHO-BATERIA & RATO-GUITARRA...Então RATO mudou-se para São Paulo deixando a vaga de Guitarrista para ROBSON(ex-baterista da banda de Sobradinho SISTEMA DISTORCIDO e guitarrista da banda PASTEL & CALDO DE CANA) Completando assim o que foi a mais forte e concreta formação da banda até o ano de 1994 quando infelizmente eles se separaram e a banda acabou..... A banda fez dezenas de apresentações marcantes durante sua estrada como 1º de Maio-festa ou revolta? (1990-Gama),HC Festival Gran Circolar-BSB(1992),Abertura do CÓLERA boate Koruns-Gama(1993) entre várias e várias outras.... As influências variavam entre os clássicos do punk paulista dos anos 80 e bandas americanas,alemãs,inglesas e finlandesas que os membros tanto ouviam como RIISTETYT,VARUKERS,DEAD KENNEDYS,MDC,OLHO SECO,RATTUS,FOGO CRUZADO,RATOS DE PORÃO,LIXOMANIA,INFERNO,PSYKOZE,Etc,etc,etc.... De registros a banda gravou apenas alguns tapes,tais como= 1-"1º DE MAIO-FESTA OU REVOLTA?" (Tape muito bem gravado desse show realizado no Gama em 1990 que trazia 3 músicas de cada banda que se apresentou no show tais como=SISTEMA DISTORCIDO,POMPAS FÚNEBRES,PASTEL E CALDO DE CANA,etc... 2-"VANDALISMO POLICIAL" DEMO TAPE 1992(A primeira e única demotape oficial da banda,gravado de forma caseira no saudoso estúdio "CAÚSTICO LUNAR" do conic 3-"HC FESTIVAL"LIVE TAPE gravado no famoso festival que aconteceu no GRANCIRCOLAR....que rendeu muita noticia e repercussão por todo o país... 4-"CONSCIÊNCIA UNDERGROUND comp. tape"-Gravado em 1994,a DESAKATO apresenta aqui uma gravação inédita de 3 sons exclusivos para esta fita!! 5-"DEMO ENSAIO NO STDIO JAMS"=Esta foi a última gravação da DESAKATO que gravada "por acaso" não chegou a ser lançada...o que é uma pena,pois contém uma qualidade incrivel de som e contém vários sons inéditos!!!.....hoje infelizmente nem os antigos membros da banda possuem uma cópia desse tape (PORTANTO SE VOCÊ AÍ POSSUI=ENTRE EM CONTACTO CONOSCO AGORA!!!!) 6-E é claro a banda participou de algumas coletâneas=comps. em tape pelo Brasil a fóra como a 'LIXO PUNK" lañçada no Maranhão,etc...etc...etc... Esta página vem para que os antigos amigos e fãs da banda possam matar a saudade desta grande banda punk hardcore do D.F e para que outras novas pessoas possam vir conhecer um pouco da história e do trabalho da DESAKATO À AUTORIDADE!!!!!!!!! +++++ENGLISH=The DESAKATO A AUTORIDADE band was formed in Taguatinga city in DF Brazil in 1988 with the frontline the great vocalist TEZEU since the beguin...well i can..t remember the name of the others members that composed the first line up in 88,but i remember just a guy called DERBA that played bass or guitar....a short time after the band had some changes in the line up...with just remain TEZEU from original line up...in the same moment a more new people from another punk hardcore band called DESTROÇOS was broke up and their members started to play in DESAKATO like a reforming from 2 bands into just one work...this time the line up was TEZEU=VOCALS,FRANGO=BASS,REPOLHO=DRUMS & RATO=GUITARS....

Then RATO moved to São Paulo city and another guy replaced him on guitars=ROBSON(ex drimmer of SISTEMA DISTORCIDO and guitar at PASTEL E CALDO DE CANA) making in this way the strongest and concrete DESAKATO line up till 1994 when the band broke up... The band made tons of great gigs in their history like "1º de Maio-Festa ou revolta"=1990 Gama,HC FESTIVAL-Grancircolar-BSBS-1992,Gig opening CÓLERA -Gama-1993 and many others...the influences was the classic são paulo punk bands and bands from Germany,Finland,U.K. and U.S like RIISTETYT,VARUKERS,DEAD KENNEDYS,MDC,OLHO SECO,RATTUS,FOGO CRUZADO,RATOS DE PORÃO,LIXOMANIA,INFERNO,PSYKOZE,ETC,ETC,ETC... About stuffs they just recorded some tapes like= "1º de Maio-festa ou revolta(a many good live recording from this gig in Gama city in 1990 with 3 trax each band with others like SISTEMA DISTORCIDO,POMPAS FÚNEBRES,PASTEL E CALDO DE CANA,etc...2-"Vandalismo policial" demo 1992(the first and unique official demotape,recorded in home ways in the great CAUSTICO LUNAR studio...3-"HC FESTIVAL-LIVE TAPE" Recorded in

the famous festival happened in GRANCIRCOLAR-DF that was noticed in many parts of Brazil...4-"Consciencia underground"comp. tape recorded in 1994 DESAKATO shows here an inedit and exclusive 3 trax recording...5-"REAHEARSAL DEMO" recorded with any pretentions,this tape never was released...unhappy...since that this tape have a incredible quality sound and with unreleased trax too!! today anybody have a copy of it...including the old members of the band...and we are trying to find a copy yet in some way...6-and of course,like the biggest portion of bands from 80..s in Brazil they are in some comp. tapes too in other cities in Brazil like "LIXO PUNK" comp. tape released in Maranhão,for example...This is page comes to that the old friends and fans can remember this great punk hardcore band from D.F. OLD PICS 1992

Well..here´s some cool pics from the past...from my archives...and these 3 pics are taken back in 1992...at "CONIC" DF-BRAZIL...my area..."CONIC" was many knowing since was the place where all punks that era keeped meeting and doing tons of things,like drinking...practicing bands in a local studio named CAÚSTICO LUNAR too...etc...
I´m trying to rescue some part of this history here...
In this first photo you can see some part of the punks from that era...in a really cool scene back in the past...when we have a group with a big number of peoples...between punks,grinders and anarchists...

In this second photo,we see a band...that was called "CABEÇAS EXPLOSIVAS"...but this band was like just a project...since they made just some reahersall sessions back in 92...then a short time after,they changed their members and a new band was born under the name T.F.P. or "TERROR FOME E PODER"(Terror Hungry and Power) playing noise hardcore and grindcore influenced in the veins of SORE THROAT...

And here in this last photo...2 guys...Rodrigo played in tons of local bands back in the past: Bass in C.S.M. or "CEGOS SURDOS E MUDOS"(Hardcore fast and screamed like ATACK EPILÉPTICO...),Drums in T.F.P.,Drums in BESTHÖVEN too for a little time,etc...etc...
Clebão who played too in tons of bands like; Vocals in ACEFALIA,Drums in MUSIKASTRO,ESCÓRIA SUB,etc etc....today Clebão is palying in your oldest and more concrete band that is OS MALTRAPILHOS....
Well...just some takes and some lines from the past...that i think many important to keep alive...

GERM ATTAK INTERVIEW-2009

And now an interview with my frind JO from Canada...who have made tons of cool works in the punk scene like your cool zine BORN 20 YEARS TOO LATE...and played in TRIOXIN 245 too...to name a few... GERM ATTAK have played a lot and made a lot of cool releases!! played in USA for 3 times and now with a european tour beguining... Let´s go!!! VP-first i..d like to ask something before GERM ATTAK... specially for TRIOXIN 245...can you say what happened?? TRIOXIN 245 is broke up??...or do a short break and back to play and record again??.... JO:Yes,Trioxin245's on a break right now. we havn't played live in about a year! hehe ..We where talking about recording new songs lately.Half the band lives 2 hours away in Montreal.it should work well since we have a good studio set up now. VP-What about you amazing(!!)zine BORN 20 YEARS TOO LATE??? last time you said that are not doing it anymore...what..s so sad...since zines in true paper format are getting less and less today....and your zine was great a lot!! What is the reason you are not doing the zine more?? JO: The reason is plain and simple: I don't have enough time to do it anymore! I have a son now and i watch him all day long,so i don't have much time to do fun stuff like doing zines!Im sure one day i will do another punk fanzine.Just not anytime soon. VP-well back to the GERM ATTAK !! .... Why "GERM ATTAK"?? the reason of the name... and why you use "ATTAK" and not "attack"?? JO: "Germ Attack" is the name of a Dayglo Abortions song. I didn't name the band.I think its will who did,but he won't admit to it since Dayglo Abortions is considered a joke these days.On our first gig flyer i wrote it with no "C" to make us sound cool. Thank god i did,because there's an older band from Germany called "GERM ATTACK". I don't really like the name of the band.I tried changing it a few months after we had started the band,but the other two didn't want to change it,so now we're stuck with it. VP-well...hearing your stuff we can see tons of old punk hardcore influences like old CHAOS UK,DISORDER,and tons of old school Finland stuffs too in your work...etc... why you decided to do a band in this way of music?? what are your biggest influences and inspirations in your work with GERM ATTAK ?? JO: We went with the old UK sound ,especially band like CHAOS UK,because its very simplistic.We didn't know how to play our instruments when we started the band,so we had to play easy songs. I think of of the first songs we ever played was a SPECIAL DUTIES cover.We like the classic 80's uk bands like SKEPTIX,VICE SQUAD,THE ENEMY,BLITZ,CHRON GEN because they are catchy.Old Finnish bands like KAAOS,BASTARDS,KOULEET KUKAT have a really cold feel to them.Also alot of raw fast HC stuff like BGK,RAPRESAGLIA,UBR,ENOLA GAY,VORKRIEGSPHASE etc. VP-I saw you mentioned the Brazilian INOCENTES in your influences too...and i think it..s great!! since in the begining of 80..s INOCENTES was fucking great!!! what others old brazilian band have influenced you in some way....or just you enjoy...etc...??? JO: All the big names!: ULSTER,RATOS DE PORAO,COLERA,LOBOTOMIA,LIXOMANIA,ARMAGEDOM.We have covered a few OLHO SECO songs in the past.I also like bands like SARCOFAGO,MX,CHAKAL,DORSAL ATLANTICA,SEPULTURA,ATTOMICA,KORZUS... raw Brazilian metal! VP-Some project to play here some day??? JO: We would do it if someone could drive us around Brazil and book the tour for us. VP-What about you ep "ZAPATISTA" released in USA by WHISPERS IN THE DARKNESS records???....how happened the invitation to release this...etc...??? and why you chose the ZAPATISTAS like a font of inspiration?? have you learning and enjoyed their attitudes?? histories...etc...??? JO:That record was recorded at the same time as the first 7inch "Canadian Concentration Camp" .I send the songs to a friend and Frank from Whispers heard it at his house and offered to release it. If only things where always that simple!Zapatistas are a group of armed aboriginal people in the south of Mexico.They have successfully liberated an area in Chiapas without using some bullshit communist platform like so many other failed south and central american revolutionaries.I think the right to self determination by any means necessary is very important.They have successfully used the media to get international support. VP-What about your upcoming LP??? JO:The new LP features a different bass player,Simex.Eric quit the band a few month ago.Its a bit more punk,a bit less hardcore.Its released by Yellow Dog in Germany. Also MCR company is doing a CD version and Black Konflik is doing a cassette version.They all come with different packaging.Its great to have these labels help us out! There's also a new 7inch out called "Molokai".its from the same recording session as the "A Black Future" 7inch. VP-And what about your new and current TOUR??? How many gigs you will play?? how many places and some great bands you will play with??? JO-We are doing 32 days in Europe.Im not to sure with who we're playing... a few bands i know are CRIMINAL DAMAGE,INEPSY,DEFIANCE,TROPEIZO....
